Cuprea is a small, cozy factory-automation game you play right here in your browser. Dig up what the ground gives you, belt it into the Hub, and build the machines that turn it into more.

A Cuprea factory running: belts carrying ore into furnaces and assemblers around the Hub

Three things to learn

  1. Dig. Put an Extractor on a deposit.
  2. Belt. Items ride belts any distance.
  3. Deliver. The Hub asks, you supply. Every level it asks for something new: wood and stone first, then iron plates, gears, circuits and motors.

Extra stuff sells itself for coins, and coins buy upgrades. That is the whole loop; everything else is you finding smarter layouts.

What's inside

  • 11 levels, then endless freeplay
  • Splitters, mergers, filters, tunnels and priority splitters for routing
  • Little bots you program with a few lines of text
  • A recipe book with a planner that tells you how many machines a target rate needs
  • Blueprints you can copy and share as a short code
  • Optional timed contracts and a Daily Factory challenge (same world for everyone, race to level 5)
  • Sandbox mode with everything unlocked

No strings attached

No login, no timers, no ads, no energy. Your factory saves in your browser. Settings > Export makes a backup, and Profiles > Sync carries a world to your phone with a 16-letter code. Phones get touch controls built for fingers.

Controls

  • Mouse and keyboard: 1-9 pick a tool, click to place, drag to lay belts, R rotates, right-click removes, scroll zooms, drag pans, Space pauses.
  • Blueprints: Ctrl+drag selects, Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V copies and pastes.
  • Touch: tap a tile to place a ghost, tap again to build, drag the ghost to draw belts, one finger pans, two fingers zoom.

Made by one person

Plain JavaScript, no engine, about 100 KB over the wire. Still early (version 0.9.3) and updated often. Found a bug or have an idea? Use Settings > Bug report & comments in the game, leave a comment below, or join the Cuprea Discord (ages 13+).

Also playable on the game's own site, with a guide and a full reference: noice787965-droid.github.io/cuprea
